After traveling to regions such as Reunion Island and Mauritius, where health problems linked to mosquitoes were worrying, the creators of Mostiglass® decided to take action.
The choice was made to develop a mechanical protection solution, in order to offer an alternative to the omnipresent chemical products.
Resulting from 15 years of research and development, Mostiglass® technology took shape in the laboratories of the Pessac campus, in Gironde (33).
This technology based on the combination of a material, polycarbonate, and specific perforations has been validated by the World Health Organization (WHO) through the Institute of Research and Development (IRD) an accredited French organization.
Since 2018, GOCAP, the company created to develop Mostiglass®, has patented this technology and has been marketing qits numerous products.
